In an effort to preserve the integrity of the fruit character and to encourage the expression of the Suisun Valley, minimal vinification interventions were elected.

The skins of the Grenache berry are delicate in nature, yet when grown on dry-farmed on low vigor soils, they produce intense wines. The translucent ripe raspberry color of the wine, gives way to rich candied black cherry, sweet tobacco, and a vibrant freshness. In an effort to preserve the integrity of the fruit character and to encourage the expression of the Suisun Valley, minimal vinification interventions were elected.

DUHIG Grenache is best served chilled at 58°F, and best paired with warm summer days with a filet of fish, pasta, or an assortment of cheeses.

The  2020  vintage  marks  the  8th  growing  season at  our  home, Duhig Ranch. Like the vines settling into the land, our 2020 DUHIG Cabernet Sauvignon is evolving and integrating  effortlessly.  The flavor and character provide a sensual bridge between dark fruit, graphite and lusciously textured tannins.
